100wc #36

Walking downtown with the sun going down, starting to become dark and gloomy. I walk into the supermarket collecting things on my shopping list, my basket becoming heavy. As I walked to the next store I looked at the time,  realising that I had only twenty minutes left but I still had about two or three more stores to go to! I started to hurry to the stores before they closed, as I ran my bags that were carrying my things starting to rip and tear apart. I finished picking them up but that’s when I knew I should run.

  1. Dear Evelyn
Nice story. It kept me hooked all the way through. I liked when you said, ”Walking downtown with the sun going down”. Saying downtown and down in the same sentence really worked in my opinion. Good job.
    Kind regards
